I've decided that it's in my best interest to take a break from studying. Exams aren't for another month, and it's not quite time to use every waking moment to have my head in a book. I'm really looking forward to the end of this year - I'll miss everyone, of course, but I need a break from school. The pranks have gotten out of hand.

Would anyone like to play rugby? I'm not sure if I remember the rules, but I'm a fast learner!

It might be a good day to bring you friends to the Hospital Wing, particularly if they are acting unlike their usual selves.

A prefect ought to look after Riley Bexton and remind him that alcohol isn't allowed on school grounds. I'd be willing to do this myself, but you know him and I think a sensitive situation like this would be handled better by a friend. I'd rather not see him in the Hospital Wing.

I'm not in any position to dole out detentions, and quite frankly, I don't know if detention is an appropriate response. As a prefect, a fellow student, and a very devoted quidditch fan, I'm worried for Riley Bexton.

Spring's coming, which means exams are on their way! I'm feeling good about them. I know it's only March, but it's never too early to put your notes together and decide on a study plan!

Fifth years: Viola and I are putting together study groups for OWLs. Please submit your name and the course(s) that you would like to either offer your expertise in, or receive help with. Both of us will be keeping track of submissions, and we'll let you know when we have a study schedule and locations.

On a lighter note, I can't play quidditch to save my life, but I'd love to go outside. Would anyone like to walk or play a game? I've done enough reading in the past few days to last me a week.

Mum is forcing us to attend Warbeck's party. Will and I have a fabulous plan and it's somewhat sneaky so Instead of following her around this year, I think I'll... not, so with that in mind, I ought to bring a date, right? I think I've got a few ideas floating around in my head, but I wanted to see if anyone had any good ideas, first.

I hate that I'm writing so formally, but these journals really aren't my style.

I think we could all stand for a bit of community building. While I realise that we are in the middle of a competition, I'd like to offer everyone a few thoughts:

1. One of the purposes of this competition was to create unlikely friendships. Perhaps it's time to branch out and approach someone you normally wouldn't. You might find out that you have something in common.

2. Hogwarts, united we stand, divided we fall. You've heard it before. It is of the utmost importance that we work together at this time. If anyone is interested in putting together some sort of cheering squad (for cheering in the stands, of course), I'd be delighted to assist in organising it.

3. As exams approach, it would certainly be a brilliant idea to form study groups. If you find yourself struggling (or see anyone struggling), reach out and lend a hand!
